Description

The Specialist Psychiatric Reception 4 is an outpatient clinic within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP), located centrally at St. Eriksplan.

In February, a larger clinic was divided into two smaller ones, of which we are one. If you feel like being part of a "restart", this is the right time to join us!

The clinic has a general psychiatric basic assignment where we work with medication treatment, psychoeducational treatment, occupational therapy interventions, psychosocial work, and group treatments. In the same building in the Atlas area, there are also other highly specialized outpatient clinics belonging to NSP, and the proximity to these allows for good collaboration between the clinics.

We are about 25 employees divided into two teams. Our workgroup at the clinic consists of a wide range of professional competencies such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, caregivers, and medical secretaries. At the clinic, you will be one of two social workers.

Responsibilities

As a social worker at the clinic, you are part of the clinic's multidisciplinary team where the other professions are doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, and nurses. You contribute to the team with your expertise and knowledge of psychosocial treatment work. You will be the team's consultant on psychosocial issues and work independently with the patient.

In conversations with the patient, you will assess the patient's need for support and interventions from care neighbors collaborating with psychiatry and coordinate resources for the patient with the appropriate agency. This means collaboration with the municipal social services, employment agency, Social Insurance Agency, etc. You will also work with individual conversations with the patient and relatives to provide advice, support, and information.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Experience from municipal and psychiatric operations, as well as experience working with group treatments, child and parental issues, child representatives, domestic violence, addiction care, mapping of and support conversations regarding social problems, and contacts with relevant authorities are meritorious. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in interdisciplinary teams and can contribute with your expertise regarding the social perspective. Previous experience with patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities is a plus, as many of our patients have a diagnosis of ADHD.

Good computer skills are a requirement. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.

You have good collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and other partners. We see that you are driven and have a good ability to collaborate, as well as a large part of the work being done independently. The work also involves informing other employees at the clinic about various social interventions. Important qualities for thriving in the position are good collaboration skills, responsibility, and attention to detail. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
